Has anyone had any experience with this college? Rebekah and I have been discussing her doing their distance learning program.

Hi Luanne,

My oldest dd is a senior at PHC, but she did her first 18 hours or so through the DL program.

She found that some classes (history, literature) were pretty good to take on-line, but others (math, logic) were a bust. After a couple of semesters, she became VERY weary of the DL logistics. She greatly prefers taking classes "in person", because some of the discussions got to be "chatty" and some students seemed to hog the space/time that was allowed to talk with the teacher.

But hey, that 40% discount sure helped out A TON!!!
