Does anyone have a recommendation for a children's book on how cotton is turned into cloth? Seems like Tomie de Paola wrote a book dealing with wool. Is there anything similar for cotton?

This is just a "brainstorming" idea, but I know there's a Texas cotton commission of some sort. It wouldn't be a living book, exactly, but I know they have materials for teachers--they will send you a cotton boll, as I recall, and some literature about cotton. Maybe googling will help?

It's a very simple, picture book, Charlie Needs a Cloak, we love it.

Another one on cotton is The Biography of Cotton

I'm not sure how far this goes into cloth making though

Thanks. I thought Charlie Needs a Cloak was about wool. Maybe I'll check it out again.
