Spectrum Chem. What do you think for Highschool???

what do you think about Spectrum Chemistry for highschool? What was your experience? My son likes lots of hands on but would like to take the SAT II in the spring so i think he would probably need to use a supplement. Suggestions?

I like it.

Ds 9th is doing Sprectrum this year and it is going well. I'm not doing much except checking to make sure it gets done and giving him the quizzes periodically. He is working pretty independently. We are not planning to take a SAT II so you will probably want to look into other resources to supplement, but I think Spectrum is a great way for kids to do hands-on, high school chemistry labs at home.
