LOF Beginning Algebra to what??

My 15yo dd is using LOF Beginning Algebra right now. I am not sure that we will continue with LOF after this book.

She began with VideoText Algebra, but after two modules I realized that she wasn't retaining. We started LOF at the beginning of this year, hoping to move quickly through it. Well, that hasn't happened. LOF is slow going and some chapters I'm able to help out and on others I'm lost (non-mathy mom here).

So where have you gone or where would you go next for Algebra II. I don't want to do Geometry next. Whatever we do, it needs to be fairly self explanatory with review for dd and easy for me to navigate if I need to help.

Hum. So has everyone who used LOF for Algebra stuck with it for Advanced Algebra? :confused: I was hoping maybe someone went through the book but changed for Algebra II. I'm not sure what the best fit would be.

We went from LOF Beg Alg to LOF Geometry. Next we'll do LOF Adv Alg.

I had three math majors at the dinner table one night when I was trying to discuss this with dh. They all agreed that Geometry used Alg 1 and Trig used Alg 2 so that's why it made sense to split up algebra 1 and algebra 2.
