Anybody use books from this series? I'm thinking about the Everyday English, Basic English, Consumer Math, Basic Math, US History, and US Government for my niece next year. I'd pick only one English and one Math and one "social studies" just haven't decided yet.
My niece is 14 (15 in September), finishing a below-grade 6th grade program that her father MADE me get for her (ugh....don't get me started. this stuff is the pits!!!). She is just now for the 1st time in her life learning division (my sister neglected to teach her anything at all from the 2nd grade on). :glare:
I just found out about the Power Basics series, and it seems like a good fit. Just looking for opinions from actual users. Thanks! :bigear:
