Rejoice with me! I found my big black binder! Taxes may not be as terrible this year! And, I was able to find the bank statement. That check had NOT cleared the bank, so either dd or the school office misplaced it. At least now I know and can write out a new order.

I checked out one of the Paper Tiger books at the library, but the File! Don't Pile and the Morgenstern books were out. Maybe I'll put them on hold.

Thanks for the encouragement. Now that I've found the bulk of my 2007 $$ papers, I can put these new recommendations to use and get ready for taxes.

Woohoo - so glad you found it. I SO hate spending time looking for things.

I'm looking into some of those same books. I can't seem to get a handle on the paper thing....maybe this year I can do it!

Fantastic! Yeah, I've got to get on our taxes. But first, gotta set up that set of active files I really need, before the paper piles grow too high again!
