I am finding it particulary difficult to teach my daughter science. I did fairly well in math when I was in school, but did not do well in science at all. As a matter of fact, I never even took biology.

My daughter likes science, but does not like math. Funny ol' world, isn't it?

Same here. I have no trouble helping with math so far, though Geometry has me stuck occassionally. But science, YUCK!! Thankfully, dh is a doctor and so he has taken over high school level science discussions. Until this year, they did book work here and labs at our co-op.

I can definitely see that being good at math does not necessarily lead to being good at science. I love science but merely tolerate math. In fact, I don't understand how anyone can not like science. Go figure!

I excel in math and am very average at everything else. I had to take 2 years of science in high school and did. I dropped out of physics in college and it has been my goal ever since (many, many years now) to take physics and pass it. With my math background, it shouldn't be hard.

I hated biology, especially the frogs. That's the last science class I ever took. I'll be outsourcing high school science, and I am so relieved.

I did very well at math, and while I like science, I don't know if I have a scientific mind. The only reason I passed Chemistry was the math part. I was LOST on figuring out how to test a hypothesis. I think my group got an "A" for effort on that assignment!

Yep, that's me. Math makes complete sense and I have never found it a problem-even enjoyable. As far as my comprehension of science: I still think planes fly because of pixie dust and you record on dvds just like wax records. :D
