I am determined to mail out my novel to the lovely people who volunteered to read it on FRIDAY!

I am so sick of this book. I never want to see it again. I am beginning to have daydreams about running away and becoming a waitress.

I will get done. Friday morning I will stand at the post office with packages. Friday night I will celebrate with a Mike's (and I NEVER drink)

Who else has something big on tap for the week?????

I intend to finish a rough plan of my son's high school courses this week.

Which means I should *not* be here. ;)

While you're at it, would you plan my son's courses, too? I'm feeling at a loss right now, but I'd like to light the fire under us again so we have a real plan.

Since it's March I figured I'd get this school year planned. I've had the Homeschool Tracker Plus for a looooong time and have not utilized it completely. Or at all, really. :001_huh:

I know it will make my kids smarter, my house cleaner, me sexierhttp://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/dance007.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org) and answer all of life's unanswered questions. I have just been putting it off because I'm overwhelmed with all of the info I have to enter to get started. But, it ain't gonna enter itself, so....

Jenniferslost, I'm looking forward to your book!

Sounds like a lot of work to me! But, I am just so excited to get rid of this 1980's look, I am willing and up to anything!

Preparing a garden area. We've got:

Major Weeding to do
Landscape Fabric (weed barrier mat) to install
Crushed Gravel on top of the landscape fabric to buy and install
Set Up 12 Earth Boxes & Automatic Watering System (just ordered; should arrive in 2-3 weeks)
4 Half-Barrels (containers for 2 dwarf citrus trees and 2 blueberry bushes) and auto drip watering for those... this will be done after all the other stuff is complete...

It's a bigger job than just this week, but it's my major project for now, in between schooling & horses/ranch stuff.

I also have to get my shearing blades sharpened so I can shear the sheep next month.

Need to schedule spring shots for the horses, and a gelding appointment for the mini.

Spring is always such a busy time. But hopefully getting the garden area set up more or less permanently now will save me lots of work in years to come.

My big project:

Take one middle child who loves hockey to the NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Regionals.

I've never gone on a trip w/ just one kid. I went on one trip by myself and many trips w/all the kids...but never just me and one kid.

It's gonna be strange.

no fees or $$$ stickers to toss stuff (normally we are limited to one trash can and one recycle can per week) so everyone in town is spring cleaning (and driving around to see what everyone else is throwing out. We scored a perfectly good walker to tease my Mom with when she visits). Plus, since it is spring break, I am hoping to get some work done figuring out my fancy smacy digital camera and photoshop. Oh - and 75% of the kids need eye exams this week from Walmart. And the girls need photo ids from the local Sec. of State office. Fun times.

are redoing a bathroom from scratch, which mostly means he works on it and makes the house dirty and I take care of everything else by myself. This has been going on off and on since November, but we are in a big push to get it done by May right now! I am really glad we are doing it, but hate the process.

Wow! Everyone really does have big projects going on. Mekanamom - you're way ahead of me. I'm trying to come up with a design for our landscape and I'm getting nowhere.

I must be nesting. I finished (the rough draft of) my novel Wed., finished a scrapbook Sat, have been planning for next year since then, & today took apt the vac, cleaned the miniblinds, dusted everything in sight, finished making kids' art table cloth (i.e., taped it to the table so they'd quit knocking it off--not as big as it sounds, lol).

I really want to reorganize *all* of our books & (finish) list(ing) them on Library Thing...but I'm not sure I can justify the amt of time right now...esp when the bathrooms & kitchen need cleaning...& I ought to feed the dc...hm.

Oh yeah, & I'm supposed to be *teaching.* Better go check ds's math!
