Name of graduation hats?

What are those little tam kind of hats called that people wear when graduating with an advanced degree? I need one. But I'm not graduating with an advanced degree!

A mortarboard. I don't know if I spelled it right though. When dh got his master's he wore a mortarboard (from William and Mary).

Yes, it's called a tam (http://www.academicapparel.com/catalog/images/6_sided_tam1.jpg) or mortar board. :) There are a variety of tams, with differing numbers of sides.
