Do I need the newest edition of Apologia Physical Science?

The older edition can be obtained used for a much better price. Is the new one worth the money? Thanks

The new book tells you when to look at the multimedia cd. So if you want to sue that, it might be worth it. I bought the multimedia cd for general but dd never uses it b/c there is no prompt to tell her when to use it.

There are enough changes in the new book that if you will be doing it in a co-op setting, everyone needs to be using the same book. We did General on our own this year and dd wants to do Physical on our own next year as well. I will still buy a new edition book though b/c I have 2 younger students at home.

So if you do not want to use the multimedia cd and you will not use the book in a co-op setting, I don't see any reason not to buy it used.

with the multi-media cdrom. I had to go through and put into the lesson plans when they need to use the cd with the lesson. It took a little time, but, I already had the book and it saved me so much money!

We have the newer editions of Chemistry and Biology and that is included in the lessons.
