I shouldn't be making decisions now, but my mind just won't shut down. I am looking for something fun and gentle for the remainder of this year and summer for my ds6, 5 and dd who will be 3 soon. I have FIAR Vol. I plus the majority of the books for Vol. I. It looks fun, interesting, has great book selections, etc. Then, there is Little Hands to Heaven (more for my dd2 than the older boys) which looks absolutely adorable and fun and very gentle for a bright 2yo. Any opinions comparing the 2 programs? Would it be crazy to do both? In Sept. we will pick back up w/ MFW K for ds5 (I just don't have the energy right now for it w/ baby due any time) and ds6 will join the older 3 in MFW ECC. That would leave dd then 3 who could *probably* keep up w/ ds5 in MFWK but I don't want to push her, KWIM? How long did each program (FIAR, Little Hands) take to do each day? I don't want to overwhelm myself doing 3 diff. programs. THanks for you thoughts.

I can't testify to FIAR as I have never seen it. I had B4FIAR and really didn't care for it, so I never even used it.
I can tell you that LHTH is very sweet!!! If you are concerned with time Lil Hands takes about 30 minutes per day. It is easy to put down and pick back up if you want to do 10 minute slots. This level has only ONE page of activity blocks per day where the next levels have 2 pages each day.
If you have any questions about this book I can answer as I have the whole kit and kabootle .
Seems you and I have much of the same likes (DW, MFW, HOD). I seem to see you where ever I go. :D

:D If only we could use them ALL! I just cannot choose! I'm really leaning toward Little Hands b/c it does look sweet. Just hoping it won't be too much. But, 30 min a day is soooo not that long. Hmmm...thanks for your reviews and see you around! :D
