colon cleansing?:blushing:

OK, I'll admit, it's not for me. But someone who shall remain nameless has expressed an interest in it. So I thought I'd ask Those Who Might Know.

Anybody done it?

Were you miserable during?

Did you feel significantly better afterwards?

What do you recommend?

feedback?

I have to admit - the infomercial aspect of it gives me the willies -

the natural way. So far, it seems to have done the job!

it may seem odd to some but more Naturopath physicians prescribe Probiotics and a Colon Cleanse after surgeries or if someone really feels...it's necessary. Also a liver cleanse along with it.
I think Nature's Sunshine has a few products that I would trust. Beware, there is a ton of info online and some are outrageously expensive - we're talking in excess of $ 100.00. It shouldn't be that much.

I've always wanted to get the consumer reports type guy on our local news to get people to "Test" those herbal cleanse products (and the ones that claim you'll find all sorts of "critters" in your toilet, I want them to do some lab tests to determine if there are actually eggs in the product or not). They've tested things like the Shark, GPS cheapo products, etc. Hmmmm...

Dose up on fiber, and drink a lot of water. Works for us.

Never worried about it... about once a month my body seems to cleanse itself (blech...):tongue_smilie:

Fruits and veges, oatmeal, and fiber works for me... :o
not too much fiber though! Or you may just end up 'noisy' and in pain... :(
