Hey, this is my first time ever to post so please excuse any mistakes I make. :) My son, 2nd grade, is going to take the sat soon. I was wondering if any of you knew of websites to help kids get ready for the sat (he has never taken it) I look forward to learning how to do this and learning from y'all. thanks so much, margaret

Go to www.collegeboard.com (http://www.collegeboard.com). You can sign up for the SAT there too.

We just bought Chalkdust's Math Review for the SAT based on recommendations here, and my son is really enjoying it.

Do you mean the Stanford Achievement Test?

Oops -- sorry, I am tired and read the title only. I had just signed my son up for the SAT, so it was fresh on my mind.

As for the Stanford. I like the Spectrum Test Prep books. I don't know of an online source.

Test Best is great. If you buy it from Amazon you can get a single copy (the publisher sells them only in packs of 10).

Also, Score Higher is a good one. You can find this at Rainbow Resource:

www.rainbowresource.com (http://www.rainbowresource.com)

EDIT: The book from Rainbow Resource is called Scoring High. Sorry for the error!

Good luck!
