Where is the best place to buy Foerster Algebra II and what do I need/want besides the student text? Alas, no one has it listed for sale on the swap board--I'll keep an eye out there. What should I be looking for in terms of extras? TM? Tests? other?

Have you looked on abe? There seem to be a few copies there. http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?an=Foerster&sts=t&tn=Algebra+and+Trigonometry+Functions+and+Applicat ions&x=49&y=17
However, I would definitely recommend trying to get a copy of the T Ed. too. I found it to be really helpful in scheduling. He has recommendations in there on how many days to spend on each section, recommended problems to assign, potential pitfalls and that sort of thing. I definitely benefited from having the T. Ed when we did it. I bought mine direct from Prentice...I was able to pick up the student text and solutions used, but had to buy the tests and T. Ed from Prentice Hall/Pearson.
You might get lucky though. I'd check Powell, and veg source too. And post on the WTB board here.
Good luck.
