Which year do you have to start reporting, exactly? I see that it says 7- is that on their birthday? The fall before they turn 7- so the school year they will turn in? Or the year they start at 7?
I know I'm overthinking this, but it's baffling me for some reason.:glare:

You have to file when they are 7 by Oct. 1st.

So for example if he turns 7 after Oct. 1st...you don't have to file until the following year.

:iagree: So for my kids so far (born 11/25 and 1/10) is was when they were going into 2nd grade.
