I've narrowed it down to four choices, but can't decide - which one do you like best????

#1. It manages to be both vintage and hip.

Added: If I were picking for myself, I think I'd pick this one:
http://theconsumerlink.com/imagesEdp/JessieSteele/p59222b.jpg instead... :) But then, I'd feel really bad the first time I got cabbage juice or tomato paste or turmeric on it!

I'll vote for #1 too. I love the cherries on one of them. I've had my eye on that one for a while now!

I love number 1:iagree:. It looks very retro. All of them are cute though. Good luck with your decision.

I have never ever wanted an apron until I saw your page and Oh my  I want one now :D Just in time for my bday too.

Anyway I like #3 the pink purple but I like the sunflowers too....... and I like # 2 and looked at their site and could drop a fortune there if I had one;) and sadly I don't but oh what fun looking.

Another vote for numero uno. Though number two has a very cute Rosie the Riveter look to it.

I like #4 the sunflowers. Pink and apron just don't go together in my mind, my first thought on #1 was that it looked like lingerie(did I spell that right?) and the 3rd one looks more like a sundress. The vintage set of three looked looks cute if you are leaning towards something vintage.

I have purchased aprons from World Market.

Let us know what you decide you may have started a trend here.....

#1 and #4. Can't you just get 4 aprons?!!!!

#1... It is the best by far.

I also like this one or the one Abby suggested. I'm just not a fan of pink fabric and bows. I'd leave the bow off this one. :001_smile:

I'm more in favor of something like #2 --only i want a DENIM one w/ lotsa pockets, it needs to come UP further to cover MORE of my chest, lol, and I would really like for the shoulders to fan out a bit more and cover my shoulders a bit more. But I'm a MESSY person!!

For someone who doesn't cook much, I *want* an apron! but I will hafta find someone to sew a custom one i think. I have a $300 paperweight sitting around the house called a "sewing machine." I don't even know how to load the bobbin. I look and look at it and read and read the manual, but just don't "get" how it works. There's a WALL, lol.

anyway, happy shopping!

oh! how funny!

i went to check a few results I had saved when googling for aprons a couple years ago. Your #2 pic was the EXACT same one I had saved listed as "closest i like", lol.

i did find this that is pretty close to what i want:

i think mottled denim w/ a few yellow roses would be cool....

form fitting. lotsa darts and pleats ;)

#1 looks très Chanel.
#2 reminds me of saggy grannies.
#3 & #4 are both cute.

I'd go with #1. For. Sure.

I added a couple more for laughs. I can't get that naked apron link to work, though.

all the aprons look like they are from the same pattern. why don't you buy the patern and make some? it might work out cheeper.

I tried making an apron last year but it didn't work out too well. I'm not great at sewing.

Okay, there's time for a last few votes! I'm going to place my order tonight.

#2 the Red one. It seems that red stains are the ones that have ruined my pastel aprons. I vote for a red one!

I like the Sassy... um pink goes with everything, don't you think so?

Well, #3 is my favorite, but doncha think they're all going to look just *fine* if you wear them like they're modeled--a la carte? I'm just sayin'...

The only thing about aprons is you seem to have to have a waist. *sigh* Goes for dresses, too. (Hey--where'd the sad smiley go?) :( I guess that'll have to do.

Anyway, my mom was making me an apron when dh & I got married. She finally gave it to me last yr & said I had to finish it. IT LOOKED RIDICULOUS. There was a piece missing, I'm sure, because the straps pulled it up *really* high, to where it EMPHASIZED my, er, deflated womb. But not very deflated, mind you.

So I'm hesitant to fall in love w/ an apron. But...I do have some cute fabric...& a sewing machine...patterns are going on sale somewhere soon...& I bet Peek would come help me load the bobbin....;)

I'm hoping I look good in an apron, too. I don't know if I will, but I thought the ones I chose looked flattering. I still haven't made up my mind. I'm all headachy and hormonal today and have mostly surfed around the web today, although I did do a bunch of editing, too.

Tomorrow! Tomorrow I shall purchase an apron.

Do, though. And I'll make one. It will take me forever, but we can post pics. But not naked.
