My dd is going to be using HOP next year (thanks Anita!) and I am so excited. I've looked through it thoroughly and aside from it being dropped in my lap for free (yay!) it is easy to follow, colorful and thorough.

I am wondering if I should just not bother doing pre-ETC with my dd since she will be covering all of this next year in HOP. She is doing DEL 1-3 and Rod and Staff this year.

Next year and for K she'll be using HOP.

Hi, my five year old twins are now working on HOP level 3 and we are all are loving it and having great success. The complete program was given to us as a gift (otherwise very expensive) before I thought they were ready, but since receiving it we have "played" with it several times per week. After deciding to homeschool and reading TWTM, I researched ETC and found they have an online program that I think covers the same materials as the workbooks. Because it is interactive my children love it and after teaching them how to use the mouse they can work it independently. I had to pay 60.00 for each child for a one year subscription - no break for homeschoolers, but worth every penny to me. I hope this helps and good luck!
