We are in much the same boat, dd has an interview at one of her top three choices (has moved to tie for first in her thinking) for their honors program and increased scholarship opportunities.

It will involve an interview. If you were a Christian college looking for the best match students for your ethos -- big on servant leadership, cross-cultural opportunities, experiential learning-- what types of questions might you ask a student?

They will be interested in more than just academics, methinks.

Any ideas, because I will need to help her prepare. (She talks with adults a lot, but has never been "on the spot" in this manner.)

Thanks!

I would expect a question about her most rewarding or most challenging (or both) volunteer experience.

What are her career goals, what activities did she participate in, a book that changed her life and why, who is her hero or someone she looks up to. Why does she want to go there/participate in the honors program, what was an important experience in her life as a Christian, what was one of the most difficult experiences she has had...This is just off the top of my head. Wishing her luck, I'm sure she'll do great!
