We had a great time reading the books recommended in the SOTW AG when learning about Ancients using SOTW last year, and I'm finding that the books recommended in the AG are generally nice additions to our history studies this year as well.
However, as we approach the study of the Renaissance and Early Modern times, I'd like to be more deliberate about selecting the biographies I include, in order to highlight key figures in each period of history.
I have the list of key people from each period in WTM, and I have SOTW 3 for next year; my plan has been to go through the AG lesson by lesson to see which historical figures I want to highlight, and select the books I want to use for this purpose. I'm not looking for specific titles, just a list with the dates, SOTW chapter #s, and historical figures.
But I have the the flu today. And we have at least 6 inches of snow on the ground. And I feel miserable. :(
And surely one of you has already done this and will share your list with me?
