Hello

I am trying to figure out what template I want to use. I am finding several different kinds where one shows semester grade and the yr grade, some shows the year grade only but senior year shows the semester grade.

What is the best way to do this? I think the semester and yr grade works best.

What are your thoughts?

I did semester grades only on the transcripts for dd and ds, no year grades. U of I, Butler, IUPUI and Purdue all found that acceptable.

Unless Indiana requires something specific, I'd look through all the freebies on-line (do a search here for tons of links) & decided what I liked.

I used yearly grades for space reasons. I understand the semester for Sr. yr since you usually are sending them during the 2nd semester. I used this one (http://i.ehow.com/images/GlobalPhoto/Articles/5446598/transcript-main_Full.jpg) (can't find the template), but made the lower right box a "notes" box for footnotes on where dd had taken classes outside of home. The back I put best test scores, interests, activities, work experience, achievements (from NaNoWriMo to scholarships earned) and volunteering.

Sandy: Thanks!! I still have the samples you sent me a long while back. Will you still use the template you used if you were graduating one in 3 years?

K-FL: I am working on one right now that is similiar to yours however I am trying to figure out where to add the 8th grade stuff. He took Biology as an 8th grader and colleges do allow that (I asked around).

ETA: I am creating two different templates. One looks like what K-FL linked and the other one is similiar to Sandy's except I will add the 8th grade right above the freshman. Just not sure where to put the one that is similair to K-FL because of all the tables.

I talked to the person that does transcript for a fee. She is giving me free advice. She said for Indiana we have to do semester grades not yearly grades.

Still looking for more samples.
