I see them at conferences and I want one to take this year, as I plan to buy curriculum and don't want to throw my back out from carrying books around.

Where can I find one?

Walmart by the Camera department. At least at our local Walmart it is there. I love my cart and use it every week at the library.:001_smile:

I just a cheap (CHEAP!) rolling suitcase from somewhere like Kmart or Walmart. I find they're made in the same place as the ones from Staples or Home Depot -- just that middle man gets more of the money in those stores.

I've seen them at Big Lots lately, & I got mine at Mardel, but I'm with Pam--get a suitcase instead!

First, the crate has holes, so you have to be careful w sch supplies. (I know you're toting books *now*, but these things develop.)

Second, they're made to collapse. And they do.

Third, the adjustable handle? Oh, my. You pull & one side comes up. You push it back in, pull, & the other side comes up. You finally get both sides up, & it doesn't click. You push & pull, give up, pull the cart a step or two, & the handle slides back in. So you start over, & then the handle comes off.

Going down steps. So you can't drag it mercilessly by the handle, letting it bump, bump, bump its way down. The handle's way too fragile for that. So you grab the side that the handle's on. And it collapses. The bottom flies up. Your books probably don't fly out, but the corners get bent, and these were *new* books, not just ratty 1/2 price books.

Then you get it to the car. It doesn't fit behind the driver's seat--it's too wide. (suitcase would fit!) If you put it *in* the seat (assuming there's room), it's too... top-heavy? Whatever--it tips. You end up putting it in the passenger seat, because who has room in the trunk?, buckle it in, & keep a hand on it the whole time you're driving. Which is hard, because you drive a standard.

And you wish you'd had a friend who'd told you that you should go w a suitcase instead because for what you spent, you could have had a suitcase. Or you wish you'd had a friend who'd told you that they're only $10 at Big Lots, because that would have at least been cheaper. And while you're at it, you wish you had a friend who could talk you into parting w yours because you're not using it anyway!

I'm sorry. What was the question?

LOL! I love it, Aubrey! I also love my rolling suitcase. I am known at our library as the suitcase lady. I can fit 100 books in there! For real. I've also fit my dd in there but I didn't zip her up. . .
