Are the flashcards that come with PL the same as the LC1 flashcards? thanks!

Yes, they are (http://www.memoriapress.com/descriptions/prima.htm). (Scroll down to "What's Still Great" for the details.) All the words in PL reappear in LCI, so you can just pull out the cards you need from the larger pack. HTH!
