Here is a link if you are interested http://www.novaconference.net/

Jessie Wise will be speaking as will Andrew Pudewa (he's the keynote), Steven Demme, Maggie Hogan of Bright Ideas Press, etc. Maggie Hogan and Steve Demme are great speakers if you've never heard them and I can't wait to hear Jessie Wise and Andrew Pudewa! I've never been to this particular conf., but I'm excited to go this year. July 11-12 is the date and it's held in Dulles, VA. It would be so neat to actually meet some of you IRL! Well, then again, my cover might be blown. Just kidding! :D

I went to HEAV (Richmond) seven years ago, and have only been to NoVA since with the exception of last year when I was on crutches with a cast. Besides I get to sleep at home...

I've gone to the conference for the past several years. I like it; it's a local conference for me, and I always see people I know there. I met a new vendor there last year (Lukeion Project, headed by Regan and Amy Barr who are archeologists from North Carolina) that I really liked, and this spring my daughter and I will be going on a Lukeion Project tour of Ancient Italy!

Peace Hill Press is always there. I met SWB last year; she was beautiful and very sweet.

It's close to home, and it's not too big for me! I met SWB last year too--what an honor! I've gone the last 3 years, and I've really enjoyed it. It helps that it is only about 20 minutes away from our house! : )

We are going....Woo Hoo!!!

I know Mommaduck met Sue G in PA....maybe I will run into you.

I will be the short blonde haired women walking around with a blue splint on her arm.......:D

I am looking forward to this one.....it looks smaller than HEAV.

Oh cool, Sue! I wish I could go...but the gas is a killer right now; good thing you're closer to the border. And yes, look for G :D

DH is just not doing well again (he has a multitude of medical problems), and I just can't leave the kids for long with him.

Think of me as I finish the yard work...

Ok you, how many times did we invite you to join us???? :tongue_smilie:

I am heading up there today and will attend Saturday. So many speakers I want to hear but I need time to browse the vendors too!
