(x-post to big HS board) DeVry University?

Just got an email from a friend sharing that DeVry U offers classes free for high school juniors and seniors.

I am not familiar with DeVry... anyone know how they are regarded in the academic community? We would not be seeking a degree there, just perhaps using them as a source for some high school credit courses.

If this is the DeVry that's in Arizona, dh (who's done a great deal of hiring of technical people for his company) told me a few years ago when my nephew entered the school, that it's not at all well-regarded. (Of course, he did not say this to my nephew!)

That said, my nephew did get his comp sci degree there and now has a very good job working for his home state.
