I am drawn to MFW's senior high program partly because the lesson plans are already written out and is geared toward the student working independently most of the time. I also have a 3rd grader and a toddler and frankly am struggling to accomplish what I would like to with any of them. Any thoughts?

We looked at them, because they are appealing, but I ultimately chose to go with Trisms, because of the emphasis on research and independent learning--and my son has thrived in 8th grade, loving his Internet research...

I choose TRISMS because of the same reasons Linda stated. Also the high school program can not be sold once completed. That is listed on the "application" you complete when purchasing the curriculum. Added to this my dd14 didn't want to write a paragraph about why she wanted to use MFW. That was a real turn off. Otherwise the program looked really good.

What??? Could you please explain? I am consdering MFW for high school and when I clicked to add to my cart, the check out looked like any other check out where you just buy the package.

Are you saying that MFW has an "application" to use their courses? It cannot be resold? And there is a paragraph that the student must write about why they wanted to use MFW???!! That IS a turn off!!

Please clarify. Thank you!!

Maybe the application was just when they were piloting the program. This year (or maybe last fall?) was when it was official released for general purchase.
