Hi there,
I'm in Maryland, DC area--Montgomery County. There are several classical tutorials and co-ops in Howard and to the east it seems. I'm interested in getting a group started in this area. I have ideas about what it might look like, but first I'm looking for people who may be interested. Post here or pm me if you might be interested in participating!

It looks like we will be moving to your area over the summer and we'll definitely be looking for homeschooling groups. I will have one in prek (really just playing) and one in K (or 1st, not sure what the cutoff is).

What part of Montgomery County? What city? The area is so wide spread.

First, the cutoff for K is that they must be 5 by September 1st. I have one in pK as well for next year.

We are located in Silver Spring, convenient to Olney, Wheaton, Burtonsville, Calverton. Some parts of Rockville or Laurel might work also. Maybe that helps give you a better idea? I know, Montgomery county is sprawling. Saying Silver Spring doesn't help much either!

I live in upper NW near Van Ness. I have a preschooler (4 years old). Would you be willing to include folks in DC?

Hey Sarah - There's also a secular inclusive co-op in the Gaithersburg area. We probably have room in your age group. PM me if you want more info.

We are in Rockville. I have an 8 year old and a 5 year old. We recently moved to Maryland and are still looking for a homeschool group and some friends.

Have you heard of Classical Conversations? There's one starting in Northern Maryland (Bel Air). It's a national organization and it seems like anyone can start one. I think there's an active one in Bowie.
