How do i delete a post?

I made my first "wanted to buy" post and got a successful response within the hour.
How do I delete the post I no longer need?

You can't "delete" a post, you can, however, "edit" the post to reflect changes or update information (such as adding sold).

Just go to the post, click the edit button (lower right) make the changes and submit.

There is a certain time period, apparently, within which we can do this, as one cannot edit old posts.

First click on edit button then click on delete button then delete post
or click on edit button then click on go update button then click on delete this message then delete a post.
