Why is it suddenly taking so l..o..oo...ong for this site to open on my computer?

My settings haven't changed, so what could it be???

It is doing the same for me. No other site is so slow to load. It's affecting the reading I can do here because of my other responsibilities.

I read in an older post that the board have overwhelmed the server, so some changes were made. I wonder if that is still happening to a lesser degree?

me too- browser gave me a message "to much traffic for server" or something like that.
