One of my mom's biggest concerns when we first started homeschooling was that my kids would never learn how to get up in the morning. Like that's a *skill* that has to be ingrained over the course of 13 years.

Yah, getting up in the morning- that's a whole set of skillz we ain't got. ;)
Like, the alarm clock starts yelling, and I like, kick DH outa bed. And then like, 3 hours later kids wake me up, LOL.

But what if your free thinking kids grow up and can't pass a standardized test? GASP!

I have long believed that tradional school with it's 2 or more hours of homework everyday is nothing more than prep for an 8 to 5.
