I'm using Hewitt's Conceptual Physics with my 11th grader this year. I like the way the program explains things. I would like more math though. My dd is very math-capable.

Do any of y'all have suggestions for what to add to get more math in? She's taking pre-calculus this year, so it needs to still be algebra-based.

I'm probably going to do physics with my middle dd next year. She is definitely going into a science-based field (oldest is NOT). Is Hewitt enough? Again, I'd love to add more math to it.

I've thought about using Giancoli instead, but it has enough negative reviews that I'm leery of it. It's also pretty expensive.
