I need confirmation that 加拿大 means Canada in Mandarin.
I'm not even sure it *is* in Mandarin! How does one google anything in a language one can't even read???

woohoo! I rock! Go me!
I managed to find the information in Mandarin!
Thanks for the confirmation. Babylon.com seems like a neat site to keep.

Copy and paste! Google can figure it out. You might like their translation (http://translate.google.com/#)section. It's rough but useful.

Ah, but to copy/paste you need to have a starting point! My DD asked me how to say write Canada in Simplified Chinese. That's all I had ! I finally figured out those symbols, but was asking to confirm that I did find, in a whole page of Mandarin, the characters that meant Canada.

Good point. But do try the Google translate. Here's (http://translate.google.com/#en%7Czh-CN%7Ccanada) one way.

Yup. That's "Canada" in Chinese. Doesn't matter the dialect - whether Mandarin, Cantonese, etc...
