Yes. It should tell you on the side of the jar how many cubes (or tsp) to use.

It is like 1 Tsp to 1 cup or 1 cube to 1 cup. Something like that.

Yes. I rarely used canned beef broth. I often half the amount suggested as it is too "much" for me when I use it (along with a lot of sodium).

yep, I do it with Chicken broth/ bouillon cubes all the time. Watch the salt of the bouillon cubes though as they seem to have a lot more than broth.

I use bouillon all the time--the low sodium variety--so that I can make it stronger and use less liquid and have more flavor.
