Anyone have any experience with this? I know it was new this fall. I am interested in next school year...physics.
Also, if I didn't go with Apologia Academy, but just used Apologia's textbook for physics here at home....how doable is that? I wouldn't be any help at all, so my dd would have to learn it on her own.
Thanks!

:bigear: I'll be paying attention to this thread, as this is the way we are headed, too. Although, you're a year ahead of us, and there's always The Potter's School too.

I teach Apologia Physics at our co-op. I think that a student with strong study skills could do this. (Remember, it's meant to be done by a student at home.) She would need some help with a couple of the labs, but just because they require more than two hands.
I say "strong study skills" because the student really needs to be disciplined enough to study the text with a pencil in hand. As I tell my students, it always makes sense when you read thru the examples (or watch me work thru them), but the real learning comes in wrestling with the problems on their own.
