Greetings Homeschoolers!

As promised....Home School Information Zone (HSIZ) is hosting SUSAN
WISE BAUER in College Station, TX on Saturday July 19th. Whoop!

This is an intimate seminar and tickets are LIMITED!!!! Tickets are
non transferable and when tickets are sold out we will take a 25
person waiting list. This is not a book fair! This is Susan Wise
Bauer, her only stop in Texas, in a seminar venue where the back row
seat is still considered an AWESOME seat in the large book fair halls.

We recommend you leave the kiddos at home and get some education for
the educator.

We anticipate a high volume to be registering early so please be
patient if you are putting our resources to their limit. :o)

For more details and to purchase tickets, please visit http://www.hsiz.org (http://www.hsiz.org/)

Please read everything carefully prior to emailing us questions. We
are busy homeschool moms and just like you, our number one priority is
homeschooling our children. Thank you.:)

Happy Schooling!

yowch.

tickets are non-transferable :(

i wouldn't mind getting an early one, but w/ 5 kiddos, I would want a friend to be able to use mine if I couldn't make it.

I'd get two and bring a friend or dh along, but can't guarantee dh will be in town. I hope the next time y'all do this you can be a little more f-l-e-x-i-b-l-e ;)

Thanks for setting it up tho! I'm sure many homeschoolers will be blessed by it! :)

Thank you for your kind words. However, the policy about being not being transferred is to protect the ticket holder or purchaser.:) So our list contains INDIVIDUAL'S names and not just numbers.;)

It is has been our experience from previous larger conventions in our area that some homeschoolers, meaning most of us wouldn't, have sold their tickets for a higher price the closer the event gets.......Terrible uh?

It is our intention to make the event affordable so we had to put some "limits" to protect our purchasers.

It is up to you what "names" you put down for the individuals, just as long as we receive it prior to the event.

Flexible is our middle name..LOL, but kindness, respect and worthy business dealings is our first...;)

I appreciate your post.

I've gotten mine!

I also would've appreciated a little bit of leniency on the "non-transferrable" clause. I would have bought 2 tickets so that my husband could come along, but because we don't know from one week to the next what his schedule would be, we would need the opportunity to bring a friend (or even one of my children) along instead of him. Because of the clause, I only purchased one ticket.

For future consideration. :) See you there!
