Does anyone know DinoMom? I have contacted her twice by PM in the last three days, and once via regular email, with no response.
She PM'd me that she was shipping an item on 12/22/09. Beginning to wonder where it is.
If you know her, can you forward this message?

I haven't seen her on this site...I hope for the best for you! I get sad everytime I hear of someone here being dishonest or scamming. I have only had good experiences here and hope it stays safe!
All my transactions, just buying, have been good, too....from here and all other homeschool used sales sites. Twice I waited over 3 weeks, one time getting no replies, and both times there were reasonable, real-life explanations. I certainly hope this is the same!!

I am trying to have faith...I too have had nothing but good experiences with buying/selling HS curriculum.
I keep saying to myself that with the holidays, and it probably shipped media mail....she's probably busy with life, maybe there was a delay in shipping, which is understandable......etc etc....so just getting nervous. But am trying to keep from completely flipping out until at least next week :).
BUT my son needs his math!

If was sent media mail, it may be awhile yet. I've had media mail items that took anywhere from 1 week to 4 months. Of course, for the 4 month item, I'd already been reimbursed (via postal insurance) long before it arrived. I was quite surprised to get it. But up to 6 weeks is not unusual at all for media mail. I hope you hear from DinoMom though. I know it's worrisome if your seller doesn't respond to inquiries.

If she shipped on 12/22, it has only been 16 days, with 2 holidays in there. That is well within media mail times. She could be on vacation or off the computer for those 3 days. You are jumping the gun.

And Media Mail is not priority during Christmas deliveries.

I just received back a FIRST CLASS package that I sent out Dec 26...I messed up the zip code, and it was just returned to me. First class is like a letter, should be quick...so you can see how slow things can get. There are many possibilities...that she erroneously addressed it, that it is just taking a long time, that she had a family emergency, etc. I do hope she will respond to you soon, to fill in some missing info!

I wish you luck. Seems like there have been a lot of "missing" packages around here. I know media mail is slow, but I paid for mine in Oct. and still haven't received it. My seller told me she didn't have my address although I did put it on the paypal payment, she just didn't notice it. So she said she was going to mail it priority mail on the 17th of Nov. and refund me part of the cost. Well it's now Jan. 13th and I still have no items and no refund of any kind.
I understand that things can happen, but if you've already received the money the least a seller can do is check their email and let the buyers know what is going on.
