I've looked online and at HSLDA's website, and haven't found an easy answer. It finally (DUH!) occurred to me that some of you lovely ladies would certainly be able to help me...

My now 10th grade daughter did 7th/8th in one year, and will therefore graduate from high school about three months after her 17th birthday. Has anyone with a child who was still 17 when the next school year started had trouble with school officials? In Ohio, the compulsory attendance ages are from 6 -18, so I'm wondering if this will be an issue for us.

Thanks in advance!
Debbie

According to this link, there is an exception for teens who have a high school diploma or are gainfully employed.
