I was worried they would just be too greasy? I've always grilled or broiled them but need to prepare a supper to leave for my dh and dc tonight.

I've thrown them in there with whatever usual seasoning (seasoned salt, garlic, black pepper) and just went with that. They didn't turn out especially greasy or anything. I've only done it once though. We're not big pork eaters. But I do remember they were tender, falling off the bone and very tasty :)

I was very sick and had to go to the ER for fluids.

Guess what I ate? Pork cooked in a crock pot.

Never again.

Isn't there something about pork having to be cooked at a high temperature?

I just drop the pork chops in the crock pot, and usually season them then add a can of undiluted cream of chicken or mushroom soup. They are fabulous. I also often put boneless country pork ribs in the crockpot with some BBQ sauce for some great pulled pork.

Go for it!
