ACE Biology Vhs?

Any one use the ace paces the their vhs program?
Are they any good? I was considering Abeka program but
you must return the dvd and with ace they are slightly cheaper
and you get to use them with your next child. Any thought?

I would not consider their science program "rigorous" by the standards of many on this particular forum, but -- it was a good enough program that among my friends, college majors included: computer programing, nursing, science ed major, nutrition major. The one friend who didn't go to college now runs a very successful hydroponic produce business -- a direct result of a project we did in high school. I do especially remember the biology program; it was my favorite, and I had to study very, very hard (in most subjects, I did not have to study).

Oh, and that was (gulp) twenty years ago -- and without the video program (although we did have a teacher who tried to provide a chemistry lab for us). I suspect that the program is stronger now.

If it works for your family, I would recommend it.
