Right now we are using Singapore but I do not feel like it is enough for my ds. Anyone have thoughts on Horizon? TIA!

I use it along with Singapore and have found it a good match. Horizons has tons of review which is good, but can be overkill. Once my kids understand the concept I have them review just enough to keep it fresh in their -minds, which often means cutting out 75-90% of the review problems in Horizons.
The teacher manuals are only helpful for correcting and grading - I have found the lessons to be inadequate if you are truly looking for help on teaching a concept.
My dd recently finished level 6 and I am very pleased with the amount of math she has covered. It's a good program.

I have used Horizons with all my kids. I have had 4 completely finish the series, 2 more currently in it, and one still to go. :)
My kids all have finished with a solid arithematic base and the older ones have been very successful in high school and (my oldest) college math.

We actually switched from Singapore to Horizons. I tried doing both for awhile but it was like pulling teeth, so I finally gave up on Singapore altogether. I really liked Singapore, but ds would completely forget a topic when we went back to it. For example, we had worked on telling time and he was doing well, but later when it showed up again, he didn't remember it at all. The constant review of Horizons has been perfect for him. Plus, he doesn't get frustrated with each new topic. We know it will show up again repeatedly until it comes easily.

We are quite pleased with Horizons and I have no desire to look at other programs. My boys enjoy it and both got all the math questions right on the CAT last month.

I used it with both of my kids and you really can't go wrong with it. They can go from Horizons 2 to Saxon 5/4, which I think says a great deal for their program.

but we love it!
I'll provide a different view. We've used Sinapore as our main math program. I have tried to supplement with Horizons twice. Both times, after a month or two, I gave up on using Horizons, because, in spite of the nice color, it is very repetitive and the problems are not nearly as interesting as Singapore. I did not feel like we were moving forward at all. I've decided that I will supplement with Singapore's Intensive Practice and Challenging Word Problems next year.
If you do use Horizons, you probably want to use the year ahead of Singapore. When we were using Singapore 4A, I supplemented with Horizons 5A and it was almost all review.
