FLL looks like a good fit for my daughter when she gets older.

But my son is a nuts and bolts person. He doesn't need repetition or to memorize pretty stories to get the point down. Once the light bulb goes off repetition irritates him.

So, what is an alternative to FLL for a visual thinker that needs very little repetition?

You didn't say what level, but both GWG and R&S are good grammar programs. GWG is a workbook/fill-in-the-blank type program whereas R&S is a textbook. We have done R&S orally w/ my younger son while my dd11 does hers mostly independently. My ds9 prefers the workbook approach and so likes GWG much better than R&S. If your son needs little rep. and picks info up very easily, GWG would work well.

GWG has been ordered!

Thanks for the help!

It sure was here w/ ds9! Grammar went from his most hated subject to his most loved. Good luck!
