What reading level are GA Henty books?

I would say at least middle school (if strong reader) if not high school. My dd11 could have handled it but since I had elem. kids we chose to go the audiobook route b/c I wanted the youngers to benefit from it as well. Oh, I'm talking about the Cat of Bubastes.

My older son began reading them in 6th grade. His younger brother, a very strong and voracious reader, tried in 4thish grade, but quit partway into the book. They both *still* love to read Henty at 7th and 10th grades.
