Thanks for the tip! I find this new format difficult.....maybe I was just used to the other one. I tried replying to your reply and it didn't work out right so I'm making a new post this way and hope it gets to you. :)

Got it :-).
Okay, when you open your post, do you see those 3 pictures in the lower right corner? One says "quote" (has a picture with paper/quill), the next is a paper with quotation marks and a plus sign, the last one is just a paper with quill.
When you click on the last one, that's the "quick reply" button- so you answer to someones post directly.

Also, at the top, there is a bar where it says "display modes". If you choose "hybrid mode", you can see the whole thread at the top of the page, then the individual responses underneath.

Fwiw, I'm still trying to find my way around this whole new message board as well :-).
