that are predictable through the various online retailers? I'm trying to plan my purchases and I'm just wondering if there are annual percentages off or sales about which I should know. Thanks for any help.

I recall that Rod & Staff has a seasonal sale, however, I don't use R&S so I don't know when the sale is.

If you click on the web special, you will see the monthly sales. They also have a clearance and overstock section. I regularly try to check on their monthly specials the first day of the month.

Rod and Staff usually offers a 10% discount on all items in their catalog that begins with a "1". This sale runs from March 1st to April 15th. This year they also offered free shipping on all orders over $25 through March 31st. Having these 2 sales overlap offered great savings to my homeschool budget. I don't know if they will continue both sales in the spring though, but I sure hope they do.

Well, there are some:
Alpha Omega has a discount sale during April, but it usually just drops their every-day retail price down to what you can buy year-round at a discounter.
BJU usually has a "free shipping" 'sale' during the summer.
Christianbook.com also usually floats a 'free shipping' coupon during convention time.
Overall though, Rainbow Resource and Rock Solid Inc are my 'go-to' places for curriculum. They consistently have the lowest prices and free shipping over a certain dollar amount.

is www.homeschoolsupercenter.com (http://www.homeschoolsupercenter.com) -I got my LLATL Blue set there for cheaper than Rainbow Resource, I think. And for some things (but not all) it can pay to look on Amazon as well-some things are much cheaper (they have SOTW cheap!) AND you can sometimes also get them "used-like new" from associated independent sellers for a lot less.
