If you graduated a child early, what did you put on his transcript? Our situation - ds will have completed the amount of work that I think he needs to get out of high school (and then some) by the end of his "11th grade."

Did you list your 8th grade classes as 9th grade, etc. so that you showed a 12th grade (in essence making 8th grade the level you skipped)? Did you list 4 levels of classes (if you chose to list subjects as opposed to grade levels). Just musing and planning ahead.

I would not show grade the work was done in, just the level of the work, like English I, English II, etc...

We purposely skipped 8th grade with my dd and moved into 9th grade material. We listed a standard 4 years of high school work on her transcript.

My 15yo is officially graduating this year with an average amount of credits. Her transcript is based on subjects completed rather than grade levels. Anything high school level is given high school credit. I did make a difference on math considering her odd path and the age at which she started high school math. But for most kids who start algebra in 7th or 8th grade (level or age), that wouldn't necessarily have to be done.
