View Full Version : Is there such a thing as a "non-cheesy" skip counting tape?

Several years back I bought the Feed My Sheep (I think that is what it was called) cd. That was a bomb. I went to the MUS website to listen to their skip counting cd. Again, it just sounds so corny! Is there any way we could get Hannah Montana to do a skip counting cd?

Have you tried Skip Count Kid from singnlearn.com? They have both a Bible version and a secular version. The music style is varied from song to song and it has been a hit here.

did a bog about this. Here's a link (http://triviumacademy.blogspot.com/search?q=skip+counting). Scroll down to "Skip Counting Songs" and click the links to listen. We like Multiplication Songs by Intellitunes, which is on her list.

I think these are the neatest math facts set to songs I have heard.

They have them for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
I think they are great! :)

Yep, we choose Intelli-Tunes Skip Counting, it is no-nonsense without a bunch of other lyrics but the kids do like to listen to Googol Power for fun.

Ditto on the Skip Count Kids from Sing n Learn. And on the intolerance for cheesy too.

Now see, we have both the 100 Sheep and the Skip Count Kids songs, and I would count them about equal on the cheesey scale. Both of them grow on you after you hear them long enough. My son likes them. We listen to one family (e.g., the 7s) every day for a week.

We have 100 Sheep, Skip Count Kids and Intelli-Tunes Skip Counting. They're all good but Skip Count Kids and Intelli-Tunes are more popular with my kids.

There are samples on the Sing N' Learn website.
