What is Cambridge College Summer Scholar Programme for American Teens?

We just received an invitation in the mail to apply. It looks interesting/exciting, but is very expensive for 3-4 weeks. Does anyone know anything about this? TIA

No that one in particular, but there are a *lot* of summer programs available for high schoolers. Some provide college credit. My dd did one of these for art last summer and earned college credit. Mostly it was to see if she would want to attend that private school for college. (She doesn't. Wants a more eclectic college setting.) It was worth the money to find out that school wasn't what she really wanted, and the college credit in her area of interest is nice, plus she got to see what others her age are doing in her area of interest. However, you have to weigh all that against the cost as it's not always worthwhile.
