DS did The Human Odyssey in 8th grade but we can't count it for high school credit. Thus we *must* do world history next year. I have Spielvogel's Western Civ and was just wondering/hoping someone had a 1-year schedule they'd use with it. I am hoping to use Omnibus 1 for literature with him, but the readings it assigns will only cover 1/3 of the book, I assume, since Omnibus 1 is ancients/medieval.

Alternative suggestions welcome as well.

What about combining the text with Beautiful Feet Guides?

I don't see that they have a one-year World History. I could, I suppose, pull some from their reading list, but I need something that is a world history survey and I'd like to use the book I already have.

Anyone else?

Here's a syllabus for an AP history class (http://www.johndziuba.org/AP%20World%20History%20Syllabus.doc) with Spielvogel that I bookmarked for future reference.
