I'd like a book or curriculum that gives a brief overview of economics or how the economy works and then personalizes finance to the student, from a Christian perspective. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Angela

What about Dave Ramsey's teen course or the book and workbook Money Matters for Teens. Also there is a tv show on PBS called BizKids that teaches economics, finances, and business.

Ds#2 is taking an economics course in co-op that has used the Uncle Eric books (Whatever Happened to Penny Candy and the accompanying workbook) as well as Dave Ramsey's Foundations in Personal Finance. He has learned a lot and has found it very do-able.

My Father's World has an elective course called Personal Finance that I thought looked really good. They use Larry Burkett's materials along with other materials and lesson plans to pull it all together.
