Many of us Washington state voters were very unhappy (understatement) when our "top two" primary was recently replaced by a primary that required voting a party line. We are notoriously an independent lot and voted several years ago to maintain the top two approach. Many of us were abstaining from primary voting because we refuse to affiliate with a party. I am happy to report that the Washington State Supreme Court has upheld the "top two" primary.:thumbup:
