A friend keeps sending me online invitations to join another forum

called Mamasource. Have any of you heard of this? Pros, cons?

I've only heard of it because I've been getting the same invitations for the past couple of weeks. They just keep coming, and I keep not even opening the e-mails.

I need to let my friend know that I *hate* this type of invitation.

Yes, I know, about it. I joined it b/c my sil sent an invite. I never go to it, but every day they send an email for a daily update. It's just a forum of moms asking questions and giving their advice. You can go on and check it out. I prefer these forums much more!

Did you know that you can go back in and edit your own post and noone will ever be the wiser!

Love the edit function! Of course, when I'm on the laptop it means sometimes my post are edited several times but that's OK ;)

A friend sent me a (misleading, if you ask me) link to click and "plant a tree." It turned out to be a sign-up for Mamasource. :angry: I really despise that sort of thing so I'm totally uninterested in their forum/community.

If you get on, have on your advenure riding books trying to get off....even with usubscribes, filters, etc. Ah wll, it could be something worse popping in your head every momemnt!

It's like a cheaper more commercial version of the Mothering bb's. I fell for that plant a tree thing too. It spams your yahoo addy and sends invits.
